How to become a resident Artist = Angel

Are you ready to showcase your artworks on a monthly base ?

We have room for more resident Artist = Angels!

Due to the Angels commitment Jana’s RedRoom has the ability to let new coming, emerging artist showcase their artworks on a low-cost for the 1st time.

We are looking currently for new artists who are willing to make a 3 – 6 month commitment to showcase their artworks in our Gallery. Every month you have to be ready to showcase new artworks for the following month, which includes always one 1st Friday showing. We like to showcase the diversity of your style. During your residency you will showcase at least once on one of the front room panels in the main room, and will rotate during your residency time on different wall spaces in Jana’s RedRoom.

Every residence Artist, we call them Angel , will get named on our Website , with links to his/her social media links. We are promoting your artworks over FB and Instagram.

The Gallery is open 7 days the week from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Jana’s RedRoom is an art selling Gallery, all showcased artworks have to be for sale. Pricing will handle the Artist , Artist cut on sales as an Angel is 80%.

Jana’s RedRoom also host upcoming events in the RedRoom and outside the Patios in collaboration with Taco Huevos and the Urban Lounge , Restaurant and Bar located in the Artsfactory.

Just in time for the upcoming Holiday season we got a new Jewelry collection into the Gallery… the wonderful Music/ rock inspired custom made guitar pick jewelry by Anne Lavigne. We have a huge collection of her unique styles on display. If you don’t see what your looking for , the Artist makes custom work just like your music taste requires. Vegas Strong went Strong

Congratulations to Shawn Seminara from “Creative Designs” his donation piece to support the victims and families of the resent Las Vegas Shooting. The Auction ended yesterday October 15, and we are more then pleased with the outcome. The price went way over our expectations. Thank you for each and everyone who participated in the auction. We are humbled by the love and support we got to experiencing from having this wonderful artwork in the Gallery

A huge THANK YOU again to Jeff Knox who stepped away from selling his outstanding photographs this month to make room at Jana”s Redroom for this auction . This wonderful crafted artwork got auctions by Lee Barrett & Co. Inc Relators. It will be on display at their Realestate office and we are more then happy for this wonderful outcome.

About Lee K. Barrett : He is a “native ” las Vegas resident, Owner and President of Barrett & Co., Inc. : he works at Greater Las Vegas Associations of relators and is past President and founder at Ronald MaDonald House Charities of Greater Las Vegas. We can’t imagine a better fit for this wonderful and meaningful artwork.

Shawn Seminara is a woodcrafter based in Las Vegas, he is original from Youngstown Ohio. He’s creativity knows no limits, he’s works are useful and fun, from household items to artworks and customs projects ….

Wall space with solo show room available

We are currently looking for single Artists or Artist collectives who like to to showcase collaborations and installations. We are offering large wall space in the entry of the Artsfactory for a monthly or 2 month rent base, each wall can be split up with multiple artist.

Available Wall size 14 ‘ x 7′ or 19′ x 7’

We would love to have artist or artist groups who like to showcase installations during there monthly rent time  in Jana’s RedRoom for one weekend of the month… all included in the wall rental ( weekend pop up can’t be the weekend of 1st Friday ) . These Installation times or showcasing sculpures or a more 3D artwork of the Artist then “only the wall art”. *

The rental for one month per wall is $300 for 2 month is $500 ( artworks can be exchanges after one month or stay for 2 month) Pop up shows will be held each month of the rent period

.  14′ x 7′ 19′ x 7′

  • All installations and sculptures have to be set up and tear down in less then 1 hour, clean up and set up has to be handled by the showcasing artists.

Call for Artist : October show/ Darkness

Call for Artist,  DARKNESS We call all artists to submit your artworks for our October show with the Theme: Darkness, the winning artist will be showcasing his /her artwork in the main room on the front panel. Your will be showcasing your art on 1st Friday and during the 3rd Sunday events.

TITLE: Darkness
THEME: Its the month of the scare, the month of Halloween, give this old theme a new twist
MEDIUM: All*
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Sept. 25th
ARTIST NOTIFICATION: Oct. 2nd
ART DELIVERY DATE: Oct. 23rd – 26
SHOW DATE: Oct. 26 – Nov. 23rd

How to enter the completion :

1. Step… pay your submission fee of $25

3.Step after we approved your images you get a notification and your images are entered into the judging process. Sit tide, and wait until the Artist notification day is there.

4.Step If you made it into the show :you will receive a email with all further instructions how to showcase your artworks.

Call for Artist

All local, national and international artists, professional and amateur are encouraged to submit up to 3 artworks for this art exhibition, per email, independent judges will pick the best Artworks/ Artist, and per lottery we will finalize the showing artist .  Each submitted artwork must be for sale.

Each exhibition will run for 1 month, during one 1st Friday show of the month, where over 5000 people visit the Arts District / Artsfactory that night.  Las Vegas has over 52 million Tourist a year. Jana’s RedRoom is located at the center of the Art District. The Gallery is open 7 days a week 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Works in Acrylic, Air brush, Assemblage, Charcoal, Color Pencil, Collage, Digital Art, Drawings, Encaustic, Fiber Art, Graphite, Illustration, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Painting, Pastel, Photography (Traditional and Digital), Printmaking and Watercolor, will be considered. * no digital displayed media, movie at this time.

Acceptable sizes: We do not have a limitation on sizes of work but have found works over 60 inches to be costly for shipping and recommend sizes that are manageable.
